The 180 Difference

Three things most schools
treat separately. We integrate all three.

Most schools ask you to choose between academics, athletics, or development. At 180 Degrees Academy, students don't choose. They get all three, every single day, built into one rigorous and intentional program.

01

Rigorous Academics

WASC-accredited, college preparatory curriculum aligned with NCAA requirements. Every course is taught by certified educators and designed to open doors to top universities.

02

Elite Athletic Training

Daily professional-level training in basketball and boxing. We develop student-athletes competitive on the field and ready for collegiate recruitment.

03

Character Development

Leadership, integrity, and service are embedded in every grade level. Our graduates don't just earn diplomas. They earn habits that last a lifetime.

04

STEM & Innovation

Robotics, engineering design, AI literacy, and coding built into the curriculum from Grade 6 through the senior capstone. Students build, test, and present real solutions.

05

Dual Enrollment

Eligible high schoolers earn college credit through partnerships with Houston Community College, Lone Star College, San Jacinto College, and UH Victoria.

06

Small Classes. Real Attention.

Low student-to-teacher ratios mean every student is known by name, supported by their instructors, and never just a number in a room of 30.

Academic Excellence

A college-preparatory curriculum that opens doors.

Every course is designed with one goal in mind: putting your student on the path to the college and career they deserve. Certified teacher instruction, small-group support, and AI-assisted personalization.

Voices of the 180 Family

What families say.

When students feel known, challenged, and supported, the results speak for themselves.

“My son came to 180 Degrees as a solid student who loved basketball. He's leaving as a young man who knows who he is, what he stands for, and exactly where he's going. The academics are real and the coaches are elite. This place changed our family.”

M
Marcus T.
Basketball Performance Family

“The STEM program here is unlike anything I'd seen at traditional schools. My daughter built a functioning robotics system in 8th grade and presented it at a showcase. She's now looking at engineering programs for college. We couldn't be more proud.”

L
Dr. Latoya R.
STEM & Academic Pathway Family

“The NCAA eligibility support was critical for us. The team tracked every credit and course requirement and kept us informed throughout high school. My son signed to compete at the college level, and 180 Degrees made sure he had every tool to get there.”
